About

Edward J. Shannon, AIA

Lindal Representative

I am an Architect with over 25 years of experience with offices in Des Moines and Spirit Lake, Iowa.  I have designed vacations homes in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. I also work on additions and renovations to older & historic homes. I became intrigued with Lindal's kit home system, when I discovered they are they only manufactured home provider endorsed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation!

As I learned more about Lindal, I realized the many benefits of the Lindal system. Because the shell is sourced as a package, material costs can be determined early in the process. Moreover, there is little material waste as beams, joists, and studs come to the site pre-cut. Savings can also be incurred using Lindal's standard designs and their "Quick Ship" program.

I would love to discuss the advantages of this time proven design/build system.
